Your phone is your shop's counter. No machine, no printer, no paper.
Why we built it
A billing machine costs more than a month's profit for most stalls in Jaffna, so most of them run on memory and a notebook. PepulBill puts the same counter on a phone the shopkeeper already owns — a QR on the table, an order on the screen, a bill on the customer's phone.
Our mission
A working till in the hands of every small shop in the North, without asking anyone to buy hardware first.
Our vision
Smarter Billing. Greener Tomorrow. Every bill that stays on a screen is a receipt that was never printed — which is why this site is built to be light enough to load on a slow connection and rated A for carbon.
Built in Tamil, first
Every screen reads in Tamil and English, and the shop's own words — its name, its items — are stored in both. Tamil is not a translation bolted on afterwards.
